1)   Ahhh...I see the fuck-up fairy has visited us again...
3)   I don't know what your problem is, but I'll bet it's hard to pronounce.
9)   I'm already visualizing the duct tape over your mouth.
13)  No, my powers can only be used for good.
14)  How about never? Is never good for you?
16)  You sound reasonable...Time to up my medication.
22) It might look like I'm doing nothing, but at the cellular level I'm really quite busy.
26)  Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

Well, my diet is (slowly) working after a lapse during the past few weekends.  I started around 205ish, probably more?  And am down to 197ish.  It's a long road.  It makes me obsess about food.  Wonder about Lena's diet where Chai energy let her fast for two weeks.

Feeling anxious today. Because my weight hasn't gone down in a few days? The article I read talking about the Y2K threat to undermaintained nuclear reactors? The inability to wrap up Sportsman's?  Blowing off stems?

Anyway, Mo and I went to a rock climbing gym with Lena and Bjorn, then to sun for a bit at Walden Pond.  My forearms are sore but it was a good day.

At least the bombing is over in Yugoslavia.

Last night I woke up around 2am from a nightmare, where I received rreally bad news from or about Aunt Susan.  I remember thinking i should write it down, to confirm or deny my ability as a prophet.

Just had a memory walking in a mall with my dad, with him expressing surprise that I had never heard of a taco bell- is that why I'm so fond of them now?

(Another RCM (random childhood memory) of having a hushpuppy shaped candle, and being fond of it, and having it hide in the bell of a trombone (this must've been in Salamanca) and sitting in the backseat of a station wagon and being told by relatives to leave it there, so they won't they I stole it when we went into the store.)

7:10, summer evening, sitting at au bon pain, eatting a bag of baby carrots, listening to a bluesman, ran into karla goo, closed my baybank account, bought some used Tolkien. Feels pretty good.

My purpose is not to change anything. I don't give a shit about this country. This country could explode tomorrow and I'd just move to Ireland. I don't care about America, I don't care about democracy, I don't care about the human race. And I don't care about religion or God or any of those things. I care about friendship, family ties and romantic love. Those are the things I believe in. And I love my writing.
